From the team behind Wings and Tins comes a hidden, vibey, authentic Margarita and Taco bar. True to form, the guys have created a venue that is as much about vibe as it is about good eats & drinks. It’s hard to find (you have to enter via their sandwich shop on Stanley Street), the music is loud, the drinks are epic, and the feeling is fun.

They have designed the space not to feel ‘like a Mexican joint in Australia’. But rather like an actual bar in Guadalajara. It’s eclectic, dark, quirky, intimate and fun as hell.

La Farmacia fills a taco size gap in the Mexican dining scene in Australia. Something that hasn’t been seen before on our shores. On one hand our country boasts a plethora of Tex-mex-cheese-filled-nachofied Mexican restaurants which are anything but authentic. But lately we've seen a growth of heightened ingredients and quality tacos that come at a high price and look pretty sexy on Instagram. However these ‘Oz’ified fancy joints are also far from the tacos found on every street corner in Mexico. That’s where La Farmacia comes in; genuine, inexpensive, authentic Mexican fare, cooked in traditional ways and served up any way you like (build your own or leave it to the chef). There’s also the Guadalajara favourites like seasonal ceviche, grilled corn, queso fundido (melted cheese pots with chorizo), cactus salads and the best salsas you’ve tried.

With over 20 margaritas to choose from, the team is very passionate about this Mexican staple, and a mezcal & tequila menu to rival the best of Mexico City, it’s a place to dig your heels in and listen to some loud, proud Mexican Hip hop.
